Red Ribbon Week

On Monday, October 27th – November 1st, our school is observing Red Ribbon Week in an effort to spread the message and pledge against drugs. In addition to observing Red Ribbon Week, October is also Bully Prevention and Good Character Month that we, too, will be supporting in combination with Red Ribbon Week! Check out the picture to see our schedule of the activities we have planned for next week. Just say NO to drugs!!

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Carrizales, and our Support Staff of the Year, Mrs. Martin!  You are both a huge asset to Eagle Lake Elementary!

A Message from Administration

Dear Parents,
Welcome back to Eagle Lake Elementary for another busy school year. This letter is to update you with dismissal information as we constantly work to better the safety of car riders. This new school year we have more car riders than ever before. For that reason, we are trying to make sure everyone gets to his or her car and ready to go home.
The biggest issue, at this time, is the wait time that it takes to get to the front of the school to pick up a student(s). For that reason, many parents are parking and walking to the front to pick up their child. Please remain in the car to pick up your student. Starting Monday, August 26, if you decide to walk to the front, you will be asked, by staff, to pick up your student in the car line.
Other Reminders:
When dropping off or picking up your child, come in to our parking lot through the entrance (west side of parking lot), not the exit.
Do not drop of your child in the parking lot and have them walk across by themselves. A car driver might not see students running through cars. Drive through the car rider line to drop off your child. Only turn right out of our parking lot, not left. This will help alleviate a traffic jam.
When you come to eat lunch with your child, park in the parking lot, not in the fire lane in front of the school. We appreciated your support.
Drop off in the morning is at 7:30 AM. There are no adults on duty until 7:30 AM.
Please remember, this is for the safety of our students.
Thank you,

2019-2020 Orientation

Come out and meet your new teacher on August 8th, 2019, 4:00p.m.- 6:00p.m.

School shirts will be on sale for $5.

Don’t forget to pick up your car tag!  You won’t be able to pick up your child in the car line without a tag.

We all hope you have had a wonderful break, and we look forward to seeing you!
